While I am not, nor even close to being perfect, I take refuge in knowing that Jesus is!  What a comfort for his followers.

But one thing I do not understand is people who live their Christian walk in speculation and NOT in reality.  It is time for the believer to get real.  Not only with themselves, but God himself.

It is time to get rid of the stinking religious thinking and start to see Jesus as he is.  But most people, like animals, take the easy route, the path of least resistance.  Quit listening, to your mom, grandma, grandfather, preacher, or whoever you do, and dig into God’s word and find out who he is.

And Jesus said to him, “‘If You can?’ All things are possible to him who believes.”  Mark 9:23 NASB

So many people speak things or say Biblically ignorant things.  Not true things spoken by someone with a good heart, don’t make them good.  Just as a liar telling the truth doesn’t make his words false.  Pulpits all over America are filled on Sunday mornings by people who say things about God that are simply false.

The reason people get away with it is that many are lazy.  They don’t dig into their Bible and find out who God is themselves.

I challenge you today to fall in love with the word.  Read the word.  Feed on the word, digest the word.  Learn the character of God by studying his word.

Paul was writing a young man, his prodigy in Timothy.  Listen to what the writer of nearly two-thirds of the New Testament told his pupil:

Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.  II Timothy 2:15 KJV

You need to understand that God desires a personal relationship with you.  He wants you to seek him, learn him, and know him.  That starts in God’s word.

I often tell people that, “No one hears from God for you, better than you.”  My brother said recently, “God told me, never supersedes what God’s word says.”  I 100% agree with that.

Jesus had some powerful words about seeking him.  Always pay close attention to the red words in your Bible.  Those are words DIRECTLY spoken by Jesus!

And so it is with prayer—keep on asking, and you will keep on getting; keep on looking, and you will keep on finding; knock, and the door will be opened.  Luke 11:9 TLB

If you don’t have the relationship that you want with Christ, that is on you.  He is ready, willing, and able.  Remember this, other than Jesus, God (Elohim) the father has never sent ANYONE to hell.  They send themselves.

My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge.  Because you have rejected knowledge  Hosea 4:6 NASB

You probably don’t want others to believe everything that they hear about you.  So don’t believe everything you hear about others.  Jesus wants you to study him, seek him out, and let him reveal himself to you.

Don’t take my word or anyone’s word.  Take his word and get ready to see your life change.  Dump the speculation on who God is and get real.

Find out what he says about any issue in your life and then when you pray, you can pray THE ANSWER since he already tells you his opinion.  Prayer goes much better when you have the answer before you pray.  That is why it is written:

And Jesus said to him, “‘If You can?’ All things are possible to him who believes.”  Mark 9:23 NAS

End the speculation.  Get real.  Find out the answer, find out God’s opinion, and pray the answer.  Get real and guess what?  You’ll get God!  Watch this video of a song that tells about a young, who saw it all, just like I am telling you about.
