Are You Two-Faced?

Most people do not know, that God has strong words for two-faced and double-minded people.

Look at what the Psalmist says,

I hate those who are double-minded, But I love Your law.  Psalms 119:113 NASB

Check it out in The Message:

I hate the two-faced, but I love your clear-cut revelation.  Psalms 119:113 The Message

Consider what Jesus half-brother James says about being double-minded or two-faced:

A double-minded man is unstable in all his ways.  James 1:8 KJV

Many of us know that one person who always makes plans and never follows through.  You now a person who changes their major every week in college.  Double-minded people should be recognized as unstable in ALL of their ways.

Make sure that whether it is your walk with God, your business, your parenting or anything in your life, that you avoid being two-faced or double-minded.  Be someone others can count on.  Be reliable.

Set your commitment level with God and stick with Him.  Believe Him.  Believe His Word.  Do you let circumstance, emotions, and feelings dictate your walk with God?  If you do you are double-minded.  Follow Isaiah’s advice

For the Lord God helps Me, Therefore, I am not disgraced; Therefore, I have set My face like flint, And I know that I will not be ashamed. Isaiah 50:7 NASB
