Most Christians are ignorant of the things they say.  They understand the believing part, but most of the time, we hear preaching three times more on believing, but it is supposed to be three times more on what we say.  Proverbs 18:21 says that the power of life and death are in the tongue, and we will eat the fruit of what we speak.  That is why the Bible tells us that out of the abundance of the heart, the mouth speaks.  People who are led by the Spirit of God control their words.

“In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.  He was in the beginning with God.”  John 1:1-2 NASB

Go back to Mark 11 again, the beginning of verse 23 says whosoever; it means anyone, no matter your gender, color, or nationality.  Verse 24 says to ask, believe, and receive.  People who are led by the Spirit of God will pray and ask, then believe, they walk in it and just take it.  It can come instantly or overtime, but if you are led by the Spirit, you know that your job is to believe and receive.  If you are worried about how God is going to do something, or when He is going to do it, then you are out of the whole principle you just read there.  It is God who promises, not your mom, your pastor, or the President.  It is God who said whatsoever things you desire when you pray, believe that you received them, and you shall have them.  It’s the God who formed the world with His words, which promised.  It’s the same person who stood up off His throne and said, let there be light.  It is Elohim Himself who made you this promise.  Pray, believe, receive, that is it.

“And when you stand praying, forgive, if you have anything against anyone, so that your Father who is in heaven will also forgive you your transgressions.” Mark 11:25 NASB

Pray, believe, receive, and oh, by the way, you better be in forgiveness.  Faith doesn’t work in an unforgiving heart.  Your job is to know that faith begins where the will of God is known.  It is the preaching of the goodness of the gospel that brings men to repentance.  You hear the Word, that measure of faith gets triggered on the inside of you, and you give your heart to Christ.  You have heard that Jesus loves you so much that He died for you.  You have heard that is the will of God, and that is where faith begins.  Faith begins where the will of God is known.  Salvation cannot come without preaching.  The Bible says, how can they hear without a preacher?  When you hear the Word of God taught, and you hear what God’s will is, then faith begins to rise.  Pray, believe, receive, then make sure you are in forgiveness right away so faith can begin to work.

How do you operate in forgiveness?  I get asked all the time, how is that possible?  I can tell you there are times you have to forgive people in faith.  You can’t forget, you are human, but you can forgive in faith.   You may have the right to be angry, but just because you have the right, doesn’t make it right.  Pray and tell God that you are choosing to forgive in faith.  Believe and receive the peace that comes with that.  Don’t let unforgiveness with someone keep you from getting what God has.  Often we stand at a divide like the Grand Canyon.  You wonder why everything you are praying and believing for is so far away.  It is because you are allowing unforgiveness to remain.   Spirit-led people are not egotistical.  There have been times I am in the middle of working and have said things I shouldn’t have, and the Lord convicted me, and I stopped what I was doing and repented.  Don’t be too big to go to your spouse or your children and ask for forgiveness if you have done something wrong.  Be a person quick to repent.  So many people walk around striving for perfection; we need to be striving for a repentant heart.  Your spouse will be quick to forgive if you are quick to repent.  Children have no idea how much grace their parents would show them if they would just go and repent before they found out.

“But he who doubts is condemned if he eats, because his eating is not from faith; and whatever is not from faith is sin.” Romans 14:23 NASB

Paul is ministering here on the conscious.  There used to be Jewish laws saying what you could and could not eat.  Now that Jesus came and rose from the dead, you can eat.  But he is saying that if you are wavering, wondering if you will hurt God by eating, then don’t eat, you have been delivered.  If you don’t, that is fine, but remember that which is not of faith is sin.
